The 30-day test showed that children of ganja-using mothers were superior to children of non-ganja mothers in two ways: the children had better organization and modulation of sleeping and waking, and they were less prone to stress-related anxiety. (Melanie Dreher’s studies were funded by Patients Out of Time.)
The editors of Patients for Medical Cannabis were in attendance at the final hearing of the Iowa Pharmacy Board’s review of medical marijuana, where Dr. Melanie Dreher presented the results of her studies with “ganja babies” over the phone. (You can read her testimony on the second page here.) She has been studying the medical uses of ganja, as it’s called in Jamaica, for 30 years.
A quotation from Dreher’s testimony – “You know, people ask me all the time whether I think marijuana should be legalized, and I have been of the opinion for a long time that this is much ado about nothing. It is, compared to tobacco and alcohol, this is such a benign substance.
A report published by Inexplitica – The Journal of Hispanic Ufology, tells us how remotely guided UFOs have been threatening highways in the city of Buenos Aires. This report was posted on 14 May, 2013.
The report describes how these devices pursue vehicles and startle drivers and fishermen.
“To the south of La Plata, these devices pursue cars or appear out of thin air in the midst of the river, shoulders or cattle troughs to startle drivers and fishermen alike.”
The report describes the area affected by these UFOs.
“A wide area bordered by the Bay of Sanborombón and Route 2 to the south of La Plata have turned into a pole of attraction for the same UFO phenomenon that researchers have associated with the activity of remotely guided luminous probes.”
TW Hydrae, a star located about 176 light years away, is one of the closest things in the universe we have to a time machine. That’s because it’s only about 8 million years old, and its believed to look a lot like what our own Solar System looked like in the first few million years of its existence. By studying TW Hydrae, astronomers can learn more about the history of our own Sun.
Recently, while observing this star, the Hubble Telescope found something pretty amazing – a gap in the star’s protoplanetary disk. The disk, which was discovered a few years ago, is an accretion of large amounts of material that are expected to coalesce into a planet over the course of time. The most likely reason why such a gap would exist would be the formation of the planet. As the planet traveled around the star, its gravity would either attract or push the disk material out of its way. Such a planet would be somewhere in between 6 to 28 times more massive than Earth.
